Fast Track® Performance Racing is held annually in conjunction with our highly popular Performance Race Week®. In the first three days of this 8-day action-packed learning experience, you are immersed in a modified Performance Sailing Course (OSS 102), the next step up from Offshore Sailing School’s Learn to Sail Certification Courses (OSS 101). This version of Performance Sailing focuses solely on sailboat handling skills, how to get the most speed out of your boat, and learn to be a winning sailboat racing team.

LEARN SAILBOAT SPEED TECHNIQUES
You learn sailboat racing tactics and techniques – trimming sails and rig for speed, placing you and your crew where weight does the most good. You learn the art of raising, flying and dousing a spinnaker. You learn how to trim your sails for speed, how to approach and leave marks on a race course. And ultimately, you gain the skills and knowledge to prepare you for entry into Offshore’s acclaimed Performance Race Week® program.

A SAILBOAT RACING COURSE UNLIKE NO OTHER!
This sailing competition course – Fast Track® to Performance Race Week® – usually takes place annually in Florida or the British Virgin Islands. Call 888-454-7015 for future dates. It starts with the 3-day Performance Sailing Course on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, just prior the start of our annual Performance Race Week® (OSS 109). Plan to arrive Thursday afternoon ready to jump into the Performance Sailing Course Friday morning for three full-days of fast-sailing instruction aboard Colgate 26 sailboats, then join the Performance Race Week® group at the Sunday evening Meet and Greet Orientation Party.
SAILBOAT RACE INSTRUCTION ALL DAY EVERY DAY — WHAT A BLAST!
Performance Race Week® starts Sunday evening with an orientation party to meet crew mates and coaches who are there to teach you how to sail fast. Unless you book a crew of four, we assign you to a crew with others, based on submitted Sailing Resumes. Monday through Friday morning you race and learn non-stop – with your coach onboard, and attend shore-based seminars during lunch each day. Don’t hesitate to bring family and friends to share this winter getaway. They are invited to join you at the Performance Race Week® Welcome Orientation Party on Sunday, the Beach BBQ on Tuesday, and the Awards Dinner on Friday for a nominal per person fee. There are a lot of resort activities for your guest to enjoy while you’re racing on the water daily.
