Celebrity Pro-Am Regatta Raises $10,000 for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Four celebrity sailors with Olympic medals, America’s Cup honors and World Championships to their names, vied for line honors in a fun-filled two-day regatta hosted by Offshore Sailing School at its Ft. Myers Beach, Florida campus. More than 50 sailors and guests participated, bringing Offshore Sailing School’s total cash contribution to LLS to more than $135,000. To view full details click here.
Sailing for a Cause Benefits American Heart Association and Children’s Hospital
On January 11, 2015 members of Ft. Myers based, Impact Initiative, joined Offshore Sailing School for a sailing adventure fundraiser. Steve and Doris Colgate, both II members are also members of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women and Red Tie for Men. The half-day Sailing for a Cause event focused on raising money for AHA and the Golisano Southwest Florida Children’s Hospital now under construction. To view full details click here.
Offshore Sailing School 50th Anniversary Contest Winners Announced
During 2014, Offshore Sailing School ran a contest for anyone who had taken a course or sailing lesson, participated on a flotilla cruise, sailed in a corporate or group adventure, or any other program provided by Offshore Sailing School.
