INSTRUCTORS
Offshore instructors teach beginners and experienced sailors and boaters on 40′ to 50′ sailing yachts (monohulls, catamarans), 40’-50’ power catamarans and monohull power boats from 32’ – 63’. All courses are taught to ASA or NauticEd certification standards. Instructors are expected to hold ASA or instructor certification at the Basic Keelboat level or higher (or, at the time of hiring, possess the skills to pass these levels), plus a USCG license or have the experience to obtain one. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Full-time Offshore Sailing School instructors are salaried with an employment package that includes bonuses, paid time off and medical benefits.
SALES ASSOCIATES
From time to time, we have full- and part-time sales opportunities. This position requires a proven ability to close sales, as well as excellent phone and in-person communication skills. Sailing or boating experience, or a desire to learn to boat, is important. The right candidate will have a proven track record of selling travel, vacation packages, or experiential learning products, along with a commitment to achieving both individual and company sales goals. Solid experience with reservation software and the ability to work with multiple customers simultaneously are a must. A college degree is preferred. You will be communicating with highly educated and successful clients who enjoy learning.
