Bareboat Certification
CALL NOWCourse Overview
Get qualified to charter a boat on vacation and be your own skipper.
Discover the freedom and adventure of bareboat chartering and near-coastal sailing with the Bareboat Charter Master course. This comprehensive course equips you with the skills and competence necessary to run your own vessel. You will liveaboard for 6 days and nights, navigating coastal waters, anchoring and docking, learning the boat systems, plotting your course and watching the weather, and of course… sailing!
If you’re headed to other countries and want to earn your SLC credentials we can offer an assessment at the end. This is typically a full day (6 hours). Please be aware that the assessment is only part of the qualification — the skipper must also show 50 days of on-the-water experience with a minimum of 25 days as Master of the vessel.
