Descripción general del curso
The International Sailing License and Credentials (SLC) is a recreational boating license valid for all yacht charter companies worldwide including Europe and the Seychelles.
An SLC holder has completed a minimum of 40 hours of international boating theory education and testing — namely, the NauticEd Bareboat Charter Master for Powerboating Bundle of courses. Topics include Skippering, Docking and Maneuvering a Powerboat Under Power, Navegación costera, Electronic Navigation, Anclaje, and Bareboat Chartering.
An SLC/SLC-p holder must have logged a minimum of 50 days of boating, 25 of which must be as master of the vessel. Además, the SLC card shows the vessel size and type endorsement — calculated as 10 feet (3 m) greater than the largest vessel the holder has operated as master at least 5 veces.
