SAIL Magazine Editors to Choose the Winner

SAIL magazine will choose the winner and the prize will be awarded in July 2011, just in time to sail during the lazy days of summer.   

Please make sure your photo is of high quality (300 dpi or higher and 1800 x 1200 pixels or larger). Videos should be no longer than 90 seconds (preferred file format is .mpg or .wmv or provide URL link to your online video). Send your entry via email or snail mail to:

OFFICIAL RULES

Offshore Sailing School's ”Win a Sailboat” Contest

Eligibility: Contest entries are specific to those who graduate from any regular Offshore Sailing School Learn to Sail or Fast Track to Cruising® course between November 1, 2010 and May 31, 2011. Students will receive an invitation to participate in the contest when they graduate. Entrants must be 21 years or older to be eligible. Limit one entry per course enrollment. Offshore Sailing School's employees, directors, advertising agency and their respective families are not eligible. Submitting an entry indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions of the official contest rules.

Prize Description: A brand new Hunter 15 daysailer - with trailer - from Hunter Marine. Total prize value is $7,615. Does not include shipping, dealer preparation, registration or local, state or federal taxes. Winner is responsible for such related incidental costs. FOB Alachua, Florida. Prize is transferable and may be given as a gift at the discretion of the winner. No cash substitutions.

Additional Terms: Submission of entry constitutes permission for Offshore Sailing School to use winner's name, likeness, statements and submitted entries for publicity purposes without compensation. Offshore Sailing School reserves the right to terminate or extend this contest at any time. Entry submissions become the property of Offshore Sailing School and will not be returned. Names of entrants will be shared with Hunter Marine.

The contest closes at midnight, May 31, 2011. Entries must be received by midnight June 15, 2011 and prize will be awarded to winner in July 2011. Winners will be selected in a contest of skill. Entries will be judged by SAIL magazine. The prize will be awarded and the decision of the judges is final. The winner will be notified by telephone, mail and/or email. The winner must acknowledge notification within two weeks to claim the prize. An unclaimed prize will be awarded to the next runner-up. All incidental costs, including but not limited to those listed above are the responsibility of the winner. An announcement of the winners will be published on the Internet at www.offshoresailing.com/winner or may be obtained in writing at the above address.
