If you start your Learn to Sail or Fast Track to Cruising course prior to December 27, 2010 you can save up to 25% on your course package in St. Petersburg, Florida. The three-day Learn to Sail course is regularly priced at $1495 per person double occupancy. The eight-day Fast Track to Cruising is $3025 per person double occupancy. For this very limited time, per person packages (minimum two taking the course together) are:

Single - traveling alone?
If you are a single traveling alone, your three-day Learn to Sail package is $1395 (includes a private room at the Mansion House B&B); your eight-day Fast Track to Cruising package is $2695 (includes private room ashore and private cabin aboard the cruising boat). However, we must have at least two people to open a course date so please give us options when you call to book so we can pair you with others taking the course). Maximum of four taught in either course.
Start Dates for Learn to Sail
This three-day course runs Monday through Wednesday each week, plan to arrive Sunday evening and depart the following Wednesday later afternoon (or stay an extra day and explore St. Petersburg). Your package includes three nights at the Mansion House B&B, a classroom session each morning, followed by two three-hour sailing sessions each day aboard a sleek Colgate 26, with daily breaks for lunch ashore. At course end you are qualified to sail boats up to 30' with confidence and ease.
Start Dates for Fast Track to Cruising
This comprehensive course takes you from novice to ready-to-cruise in seven days with a rewarding test cruise at the end. Plan to arrive Friday and start your course Saturday with two days of the Learn to Sail course. Your package includes three nights at the Mansion House B&B before boarding our cruising boat Monday morning. The next five days are packed with instruction and drills as you sail from port to port, harbor to harbor. Friday late afternoon you'll drop your instructor off and continue your adventure with a test cruise (anchoring on your own that night in a secluded harbor) before returning to the St. Petersburg Municipal marina slip by noon Saturday. This is a WOW experience at a truly WOW year-end price!

Learn to Sail: Experience Saint Petersburg sailing and Tampa sailing on the shoreline of Tampa Bay with plenty of open water to practice maneuvers. Much of your Tampa sailing lessons will be in the well-protected Vinoy Basin, just two blocks from your accommodations, the Mansion House B & B. One of the loveliest natural harbors on Florida's Suncoast, this basin is a popular gathering spot for festivals, to watch the sunrise, jog, rollerblade, bike, walk or enjoy a great meal in a waterside restaurant.
Fast Track with Live Aboard Cruising®: You’ll have the pleasure of cruising Tampa Bay, under the Skyway Bridge to the Gulf of Mexico, with typical stops at Egmont Key, the Manatee River, Venice, Longboat Key and the old fishing port of Tarpon Springs. Along the way, you’ll experience a variety of navigation conditions such as shipping channels, the Intracoastal Waterway, coastal point-to-point Saint Petersburg sailing and open water cruising.
