The best two hours you'll ever have

Ever wondered how to learn sailing? If you are vacationing at one of our resort campuses or live in the New York metropolitan area and would like to get out on the water for a couple of hours and learn about sailing, try a two-hour beginner sailing lesson.

You'll get to steer and handle the sails while sailing a sleek Colgate 26 sailboat. Your instructor will provide instruction and show how to make the boat move with wind alone as you get the feel of sailing and learn just how much fun this special lifestyle is.

$150 per person for sailing instruction

The cost is $75 per person per hour, with a minimum of two hours per session. We require a minimum of two people to open a sailing instruction session and take no more than four people at a time. This means you'll get very special individual attention from an expert Offshore Sailing School instructor who cares about you having a superb and productive time on the water.

While this is NO SUBSTITUTE for our Learn to Sail course which gives you the skills to sail a boat up to 30 feet with total confidence, a sailing lesson will get you started and whet your appetite for more. The experience is fun, inspiring and productive.
