This shore-based rela
xing vacation is available at several Offshore Sailing School Florida destinations. Your five-night stay ashore in a beautifully appointed room overlooking the water provides plenty of instruction and time for local attractions. You sail and learn half a day each day in comprehensive on-water sessions, culminating in a practice cruise without the instructor aboard.

Typical Five-Day Bareboat Cruising Preparation Package for Two
- Steve and Doris Colgate’s comprehensive Fast Track to Cruising book published by McGraw-Hill
- Colgate Coastal Cruising and Bareboat Cruising Certification (Day Sailing or Basic Keelboat Certification is a pre-requisite, but may be “challenged” if you have basic sailing experience)
- Diploma and logbook or log pages if you already have one from a previous course
- Five nights accommodations at the resort where you have chosen to learn
- Test cruise without the instructor aboard at course
- Offshore Cruising Club membership and invitation to participate in the 2010 Caribbean Grad Cruise
