Florida Sailing Club
Unlimited Sailing, Unlimited Fun!
At last, a Florida sailing club for Florida sailors who just want to get out on the water and feel the breeze. without the hassles of boat ownership. You sail just about any day you like on Offshore Sailing School's Colgate 26 fleet berthed at the new Pink Shell Beach Resort Marina on Ft. Myers Beach. With big cockpits, storage below, sophisticated performance, yet so easy - and safe - sailing with the Club is all about FUN!
When you join the Florida Sailing Club your only responsibilities are to share the joys of sailing with family, friends and other Club members; be safe on the water; and bring your boat back in the same condition you found it in when you set sail. Then head to the Piink Shell Beach Resort's Bongo's Bar to share sailing stories with fellow Club members.
Who May Join
Offshore Sailing School graduates with Colgate Day Sailing or Performance Sailing certification, or US Sailing Basic Keelboat certification, are automatically invited to join. If you don't yet know how to sail or handle a boat like the Colgate 26, a short course is all you need. If you are a competent sailor, you may do an on-water check-out with an Offshore Sailing School instructor. Here are a few easy ways to get certified or take a test sail:
No Initiation Fee, Low Monthly Cost
If you choose annual membership your monthly cost is just $150/month for a single membership, lower than the rental fee for a 25 footer for one day! Couples pay just $250/month; a family of four just $384/month. Seasonal (six-month) memberships are available too.
