How to Get Here
Traveling by air
The closest airport is Southwest International Airport (RSW), just 17 miles from The Pink Shell Beach Resort and Spa, serviced by all major domestic carriers and some international airlines. Taxis are available just outside
- International service is also available to Orlando, Miami and Tampa – a three and a half-hour drive or less to The Pink Shell Resort.
Traveling by car
- Driving here is a popular option as Fort Myers is easily accessible from major Interstates along Florida’s Midwest (I-75) and Northeast (I-95) corridors, as well as Orlando (I-4).
From Points North
- Take I75 to Exit 131 (Daniels Parkway)
- Turn right (west) and travel for approximately 4 miles to Ben C. Pratt/Six Mile Cypress Parkway and turn left at light
- Cross U.S. Route 41 and continue onto overpass onto Summerlin Road (stay to left for overpass)
- Continue on Summerlin Road through several traffic lights, when you see another overpass ahead, stay to right
- Do not go onto overpass, go to right and at light turn left onto San Carlos Bay Boulevard (takes you under the overpass)
- Travel 2.5 miles on San Carlos Boulevard and cross the Matanzas Pass Bridge
- Turn right as you cross the bridge onto Fifth Street, which turns into Estero Boulevard North
- Travel 0.75 miles to the Pink Shell Beach Resort; registration office on the left in multi-story building
From Points South
- Exit I75 at Exit 131 (Daniels Parkway) and follow the directions above
