Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) is only 90 minutes away and Reagan National Airport (Washington, DC) is within a two-hour drive. Nearby Easton Municipal Airport is ten minutes away, providing air service. Helicopter and limousine service can be arranged by the hotel.
When you get to Easton - for all the embarkation points below
- Take Route 50 east across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge
- Stay on Route 50 east to split at 50/301
- Go approximately 30 miles East, pass Easton Airport on right
- One half mile beyond airport, bear right onto Route 322
- At fourth traffic light turn right onto Route 33 to St. Michaels
- Proceed west on Route 33, about nine miles through town of St. Michaels (Route 33 is also Talbot Street)
- Turn right at 308 Watkins Lane, on the right off Talbot Street just beyond town limits and Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum
From Washington, DC via the Capital Beltway - take John Hanson Highway (Route 50 East) to Chesapeake Bay Bridge
From Baltimore - Follow Route 695 to 97 south to 50 east.
From BWI Airport (Baltimore) - When leaving terminal area follow signs for route 170 north, then signs for Route 97 south or Chesapeake Bay Bridge (stay on 97 for about 15 miles), then route 50 east for nine miles to Chesapeake Bay Bridge
From Philadelphia/Wilmington - Go south on Route 95 near Newark, then south on Route 896 (exit 1A Middletown, and continue straight (no turns) on Route 301 south (becomes limited access highway) for 50 miles; take Exit 25 and veer left on Route 213, go four miles, then left on Route 50 East
From New York City - Take the New Jersey Turnpike south to end, cross Delaware Memorial Bridge into Delaware heading west, then I-95 south; go south on Route 896 (exit 1A Middletown) and follow directions from Philadelphia above
