Set
sail to inspire your team! To
complement a successful meeting, Offshore’s Corporate Sail-Race
Challenge® is the catalyst for team success in achieving shared
goals.
No sailing experience is necessary! Even
if your team has never set foot on a sailboat, in minutes they’ll
learn the thrill of harnessing the wind. Sailing presents no physical
or gender limitations; everyone participates equally, buoyed by
a sense of achievement.
Working with many companies each year,
the people skills of our instructors shine in molding crew members
into true teams and helping identify leadership qualities. You
just won’t find a more strategic yet FUN way to ignite the
spark in your crew.
Analogies between sailing and business
are many.
- Techniques for maximizing a sailboat's
performance are remarkably similar to maximizing a company's
performance
- Changes in the marketplace compare
to wind shifts on the water
- Successful completion of a job with
participants working closely together carries the same issues
onboard as in a work environment
- Sailing facilitates the strategic development
process and enhances problem solving skills
- Sailing performance depends on interaction
between skipper and crew who must react to rapidly changing
conditions as a team
