Offshore Sailing School – the pre-eminent sailing education provider - specializes in learning vacation packages and sailing clubs at destination resorts and in the NY metro area. From time to time we seek ambitious sales persons with proven track records in leisure vacation sales. This interesting and rewarding job is fast-paced, requires accuracy and comfort with phone and email sales, agility with our computer reservation program; ability to multi-task many customers at once, and learn quickly all facets of our company’s core business. Important is your desire and ability to learn to sail or take our Learn to Sail course if you are already a sailor (a company perk of course). Financial success depends on how much revenue you produce in course packages to meet team goals. Compensation includes base pay plus commission and other incentives. Sailing Instructors / Branch Managers
If you are a skilled sailing or boating instructor with US SAILING instructor certification and a Coast Guard License, consider joining our expert faculty. Here’s your chance to work and live in great sailing areas, while sharing your passion for good seamanship and the sailing lifestyle with highly motivated customers.
We are seeking qualified applicants for our four Florida locations – skilled sailors with people skills and strong teaching experience. You must have performance and cruising boat sailing experience, US SAILING certification or the skills to pass the exams at keelboat and cruising levels. A USCG license is also required, or enough experience to obtain the appropriate level as soon as possible. With seven locations in New York area, Florida, and British Virgin Islands – ability to transfer between locations is important. Manager applicants must have strong organization and management skills; involves instructor and course scheduling, boat maintenance, liaison with HQ and other branches, teaching, on-site resort liaison.
