Sales Associates (our Sailing Advisors)
Offshore Sailing School - the pre-eminent sailing education provider - specializes in learning vacation packages and sailing clubs at destination resorts; and courses and clubs in the New York metro area. Our sales team is made up of ambitious individuals with proven track records in leisure vacation sales and sailing. Requirements include: accuracy with pricing, comfort with phone and email sales, agility with electronic res systems, ability to multi-task several customers at once and learn quickly all facets of our company's core business. Financial success depends on how much the team sells; base pay, plus commission when goals are met. Must work out of headquarters in South Ft. Myers, Florida. Sailing Instructors and Branch Managers
If you are a skilled sailing or boating instructor with the qualifications listed below we invite you to talk to us about joining our expert faculty. Here's your chance to work and live in great sailing areas, while sharing your passion for good seamanship and the sailing lifestyle with highly motivated customers. Skills required include: excellent "people" skills, strong teaching experience (in sailing); strong racing and cruising sailing experience, US SAILING instructor certification at least at the Basic Keelboat level or the skills to pass exam at keelboat and cruising levels, USCG license or experience to obtain appropriate level. With seven locations in the New York area, Florida, Chesapeake and British Virgin Islands, flexibility to move is helpful. Manager applicants must have strong organization and management skills, computer agility; and expertise in scheduling, boat maintenance, communication with peers, partners and employers.
