Offshore Sailing School welcomes interest from media contacts to create more visibility for sailing and recognition of Offshore Sailing School courses, learning vacations, leadership and team building programs.
For those who already have an assignment to write a story featuring sailing with Offshore Sailing School through print, on-line or TV avenues, we will provide complimentary courses, lessons or time with one of our executives or an instructor. We also are happy to work with freelance press to create ideas and avenues for presentation to media contacts.
Great destinations for rewarding learning at all levels
Our partners include some of the finest resort destinations in Florida including South Seas Island Resort and the Pink Shell Beach Resort and Spa, The Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland; as well as The Moorings, the largest sail and power charter company in the world. All of them are happy to provide accommodations and boat use on a space available basis for features and articles that will include their destination or product.
In addition to the broader interest in learning a new skill and doing something meaningful and productive in one’s spare time, there are many specific focuses to explore. We can help you with rewarding family vacations, women’s getaways, man-cations, staycations, programs for active elders, singles and exclusive couples retreats, leadership and team building – all centering on the lifestyle of sailing and the value sailing brings to the workplace and personal well being.
Sailing is a "green" activity
Most important, we want to emphasize the greenness of sailing. We use “wind-power” not fuel to propel a sailboat through the water. We like to say that sailors “reduce their carbon foot print” every minute they are under sail.
